"Electric 3 ways 4 ways Threaded Ball Valve" means a regular 3 way 4 way threaded ball valve with an electric actuator. They are typically used as a diverter valve to control water, air, oil and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Through rotate 90 degrees (quarter-turn) to change the flow diretion. While they typically operate more slowly than valves with a pneumatic actuator, it is often the case that electricity is available and compressed air is not.
Electric actuators feature visual and electrical valve position indication, manual override, and weatherproof enclosures. Advantages of electric actuated ball valves over other type valves may include: higher flows, higher pressures, higher temperatures and wider media compatibility.
The ball valve is direct mounted to the actuator using the international standard ISO5211 mounting pad. Rugged unique integral motor/housing design provides higher torque in a very small package. Anti-condensation heater is standard and will help protect actuator against damage caused by condensation. Two auxiliary limit switches are provided to confirm valve position. 
About 3-way Ball Valves Three way ball valves have 3 ports. They are available in a variety of body materials and with all of the common end connections. They can be manually operated or automated with an electric or pneumatic actuator. They can be used as diverter valves, where flow a single inlet is diverted to either of the two other ports as the outlet. They can also be used as an input selector where a single outlet port is fed the flow from one of the other two ports as the supply inlet. The bore through the ball (ball drilling) comes in two varieties, "T" and "L" as shown below. 
All of the T type port can be realized from one standard valve body and can be reassembled on site. In order to realize 180 rotation, the stopping is required to reset.

For 4-way port, the T type port and L type port can be chosen.

Note: there are T type port and L type port for the three-way ball valve T port: can make the three orthogonal pipeline interconnected with each other and cut off the third port,playing the role of diversion and confluence.
L port: can only make the two orthogonal pipeline connected with each other and can not keep the third pipeline connected,playing only the role of diversion.
