VP Electric Clamp Ball Valve

"Electric Sanitary Tri-clamp Ball Valve" means a regular Sanitary Tri-clamp ball valve with an electric actuator. It is a simple solution for many basic on/off applications especially for food, beverage, medicine and other industries that require high sanitary conditions while Tri-clamp valve is easy to clean. They rotate 90 degrees (quarter-turn) from fully open to fully closed. While they typically operate more slowly than valves with a pneumatic actuator, it is often the case that electricity is available and compressed air is not. 

Electric actuated 3-piece stainless steel ball valve is used for on-off control of water, air, oil, and other media compatible with the materials of construction. Standard unit is power-to-open and power to close, stays in last known position with loss of power. On receipt of a continuous input signal, the motor runs and via a self-locking gear drive rotates the valve ball. The motor is stopped by internal cams striking limit switches.
